FAQs

What does this test screen for?

It assesses symptoms such as genital warts and HPV exposure to evaluate whether you may benefit from further medical evaluation.

Who should take it?

Anyone with visible bumps or warts in the genital or anal area or abnormal smear results should consider this screening.

What are the symptoms of genital HPV?

Symptoms include small, flesh-colored warts around the genitals or anus, sometimes itchy but usually painless.

How does the screening work?

The test uses a symptom and history questionnaire to estimate your likelihood of HPV infection or genital warts.

Is this a cervical cancer screening?

No. For cervical cancer, you’ll need a smear test and HPV DNA test from a medical provider.

Is this test accurate?

It’s a useful first step but not diagnostic. For confirmation, you’ll need an in-person evaluation.

Are results confidential?

Yes. Your data is protected and never shared without your permission.

How long does it take?

Approximately 5–10 minutes.

Can HPV be treated?

While the virus itself may clear on its own, genital warts can be removed via cryotherapy, topical treatments, or other medical methods.

Can I prevent HPV?

Yes. Vaccination, condom use, and regular screening all reduce the risk of HPV-related complications.
